Appointment Status Reference

You can send any of the following values in appointment.status. All values are case-insensitive.

Active statuses

These statuses indicate the appointment is live. All are normalized to booked internally.

Value you send	Normalized to	Description
`booked`	`booked`	Standard scheduled appointment.
`confirmed`	`booked`	Patient confirmed attendance.
`pending`	`booked`	Appointment awaiting confirmation.
`arrived`	`booked`	Patient has arrived at the clinic.
`checked-in` / `checked_in`	`booked`	Patient has checked in.
`fulfilled`	`booked`	Appointment has been completed.
`rescheduled`	`booked`	Appointment was rescheduled to a new time.

These statuses indicate the appointment is cancelled or void. All are normalized to cancelled internally.

Value you send	Normalized to	Description
`cancelled` / `canceled`	`cancelled`	Appointment was cancelled.
`no-show` / `no_show` / `noshow`	`cancelled`	Patient did not show up.

Any unrecognized status value defaults to booked. If you have a status not listed here, contact Insight Health to add it.
